Irish companies dissolved after a merger
Type a company name or a company number. 2,077 companies dissolved after a merger, from the CRO file of 12 October 2026.
Did your company absorb this one? Its internal data may still have value — see the data of a company that was merged away. Or a dated record report.
What this is
When Irish companies merge, the ones that are absorbed are dissolved without a liquidation, and the register marks them “Dissolved PostMerger”. This site lists them: the name, the number, the date, the last accounts, the company type, the activity and the county.
Who uses it
- Customers and suppliers — the company I dealt with no longer appears: was it merged?
- Former employees — find a former employer under the name it had.
- In liquidation instead? — see Irish companies in liquidation.
- About to be struck off? — see Irish companies listed for strike-off.
What it is not
Not the Companies Registration Office, not CORE, and not a certificate. The open file does not say which company absorbed this one: for that, see the merger documents on CORE. A merged company did not fail; its business usually continues under another name. The register carries no headcount: being listed here says nothing about a company's size. The status is the one in the CRO open file of the date shown; check CORE for today's.
